In India, an estimated 20 crore people sleep hungry daily and about 3,000 infants die due to malnutrition and hunger every day. On the other side of this scene is one where there is huge wastage of food at events and parties. To bridge the gap Flying Colours Education Foundation, planning to collects food which otherwise goes wasted at events and functions, sometimes even from households and redistributes this to hundreds of people in slums and on footpath. The NGO has a dedicated helpline to ensure that calls for leftover food are serviced, food is picked up and redistributed.

Ration Kit Distribution

Ration Kit Distribution Project was launched by our foundation during the Ramadan 1439H (2018) with the help of loyal contributions of generous people like you. We distributed Ration kits to the poorest of the poor families, belonging to different area in the district. This project brought happiness to thousands of needy families. These Ration Packs costing around INR 1500/- each, are equipped with a month's worth of ingredients that will help one family of 4 to 5 people prepare its own food for the said period.

Project Goal

Our goal is to get the community involved in supporting families in need during Ramadan and throughout the year as per requirement. We want to create an outlet for people to "do good during this month. We also hope that Project Ramadan will create awareness on poverty issues among the general masses. We have traced out some areas in our district where people are facing worst even for their daily needs.
