Welcome to Kapda Bank

Flying Colours Education Foundation collects used clothes, washed, ironed, packed and distribute the same among the needy people on daily basis. The said bank was started with 10,000 dresses on 15 March 2020. At any given time Kapda Bank has more than 1000 dresses. Apart from dresses, it also has a large collection of other utility items like foot wear, belts and toys. A also functions for easy disbursement in these far flung areas. Time to time distribution was also done through several outlets in various localities. During winter a special drive is being taken up every year to disburse warm clothes, blankets, sweaters and jackets in several areas including outside Akola and to almost every person sleeping on pavements.

Achievements

Just like the need for food is essential cloth is also an essential part of human life. Keeping this in mind, Kapla bank was founded on 15th of March 2020. We urged the financially sound people of our City to donate their old clothes to Kapda bank so that the same can be provided to the poor and needy people.

After the successful initiation of Kapda Bank, people also started donating new clothes to Kapda bank. Hence we planned and started distribution of these new clothes on special occasions to the poor and needy people like Eid-al-Fitr & Eid-al-Adha.

After initiating Kapda bank, when the 1st Winter came, We also started distribution of sweaters and blankets. In the recent Winter, We distributed almost 150 sweaters in slum areas & 150 sweaters in the Central Jail of the City to the poor prisoners.

This way Kapda bank Receives and distributes almost thousands of old & new clothes within an year on daily basis to the poor and needy people as per requirement
